Senior Vice President of Business Development: Hansjorg Stohs
Mr. Stohs is a member of the Korston Group Executive Board and since July 2003 is the Head of the Business Development Department. His responsibilities include participation in the strategic planning of the activities of Korston Group in Moscow and in Russian regions.
Mr. Stohs opened 32 hotels in 11 countries, including Austria, USA and Canada. Work in Korston Group of is not the first Russian project for Mr.Stohs. Yet in the times of “Iron Curtain” in the USSR he opened Helicopter Ski Hotel in Gudauri, in the Caucasus, later followed by Art- Hotel in Moscow (1995- 1997) and then by Atrium Palace Hotel in Ekaterinburg (1997- 1999).
“To open a hotel” for Mr. Stohs means to completely head the process of concept development, technological planning, equipping, staff training on the stage of launching the operation.
Among Mr.Stohs's projects have been not only hotels. He participated in creating a great number of service enterprises such as restaurants, golf clubs, and elite camping.
Mr. Stohs has generated his priceless professional experience and created his world known reputation of the top class professional in the hospitality business during more than forty years of work, climbing up from a hotel clerk in his teen years to the manager and business strategist at present.
